General courses in English, French and German

Ordinary courses provide the student with general language competence at six levels, each of which consists of 120 hours of study taken in two 60-hour modules. For example:

Nivell C (120 hours) = C1 (60 hours) + C2 (60 hours)

Length: 60 hours (from October to February and from February to June) - (45 hours in group + extra activities + tutorials). Classes last for 90 minutes, two days a week or three hours on Fridays or Saturdays.

English Conversation

Length of course: 30 hours.
Levels: Intermediate | Advanced

English senior courses

UAB Idiomes Barcelona offers English senior courses for people who want to improve their language proficiency in a stimulating and supportive atmosphere. English senior courses have the academic rigour and quality of university courses without the stress of exams. They are taught by qualified teachers who make classes both enjoyable and practical.

• 90-hour courses in 30-hour terms.
• Two classes a week, one and a half hours each class.
• From Beginner to Intermediate level.
• A maximum of 15 students per group.
• Free level test.
• Supplementary material and activities from the internet.
• Optional exam certification.

Exam preparation: First Certificate in English

Length of course: 50 hours.
Level required: Upper Intermediate

Thought for people who want to take the Certificate in Advanced English exam in June 2008.
