VIDEO NATION

In this activity you are going to discover a part of the extensive BBC web site.This site has a wealth of information on subjects ranging from antiques to zoos!!There is also a special section dedicated to non-native English speakers, which you are going to work with today.

In particular you are going to explore a video site called “VideoNation”.Before you start, read what the BBC says about VideoNation:

You can see a map of Britain and photos of different people.Click on a photo and you will move to a new page.Here you should click on the arrow on the video screen and then you will be able to watch the video.There are questions which you should do as you are listening and check as you go.You can also read the tapescript to check your understanding.
